Working as an independent consultant, Culture IQ provides professional assurance on book curation, event programming and communications, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects a broad range of voices, experiences and perspectives.

This collaboration supports Happy Reading Children’s Bookshop in their mission to:

• Create an inclusive, welcoming space for all young readers alongside their families and carers where they are able to feel represented through quality books, ebooks and audiobooks made by ‘own-voices’ Children’s book creators and publishers

• Be a key stakeholder with the local Thanet community, especially for schools and other organisations to spread the joy of reading (and listening to) books, promote the importance of literacy skills, and to put on accessible Children’s literacy events throughout the year with a focus on school holidays

In partnership with Rosina at Culture IQ, the Happy Reading team are able to continue curating Children’s books with an even higher level of confidence and care.
